    Selvedge London Design Festival 2010

Selvedge is one of my favourite magazines.  If you haven’t heard of it, the magazine presents a wide-ranging, unbiased and critical overview of the textile world with beautiful illustrations. Its available at most retailers like WH Smith etc.  The London Design Festival looks like it has some interesting events.

Which bed would you sleep in?

I found these gorgeous photos of ‘Indian Haveli……in Tanzania’ under the wonderful ‘An Indian Summer’ blog.  I just love these and wish I could replicate it in my own home.  However, the perfect setting would probably last of of 5 minutes – children, cats and husband would soon make their mark!

    Flag of India Magnet

    Flag of India magnet

Do you like magnets? I had always been looking for Indian flags and waited till I was on holiday in India to buy one. It took many trips to many shops before I found one. There was a choice of one. Why doesn’t India sell these flags everywhere? My flag now hangs on my wall in my office (alongside my map of India) and I love it. I recently thought it would be nice to have the same in my kitchen so I have produced a magnet that can sit on the fridge. Its large so it might become a talking piece! It measures 14x11cm and will soon be available to buy from etsy or bouf. I will let you know when its ready.
